Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Use a gray pencil to add a small beak shape to the side of your page, and then bring a curved line up from the top of this. Take this to the left, and wave it down towards the bottom of the page.
2.

Bring another wavy line down from the bottom of the beak, take this to the left, and add a “point” to the bottom.
3.

Add another point to create a “W” shape, and then add a wavy line to the left of this.
4.

Add a small “bump”, and then another bump to the back of this for the tail. Bring a line up to meet the head, and add a bumpy section to this line.
5.

Now, add a foot to the bottom of the “W” shape.
6.

Add a bumpy, long wing across the back of the body, down the length of the tail…
7.

Shade the outside of this with the gray pencil.
8.

Add a curved, wavy “l” shape down the back of the back, and across above the feet.
9.

Shade the space behind this with the gray pencil.
10.

Add a curved “w” shape to the top of the wing…
11.

Make this a little larger, and shade the shape you have created.
12.

Add color to the back of the neck…
13.

And then add a teardrop shape to the back of the beak for an eye.
14.

Use a black pen to add a small circle inside this, and shade the space around this with the gray pencil.
15.

Now, use a violet pen to add three marks to the beak.
16.

Grab a purple pen, and shade the top of the beak…
17.

And then use a brown pen for the foot.
And voila – you have your very own adorable dove; all that remains is to give her a name.
