1.

Use an orange pen to draw a curved line in the right of your page. Add curved lines to the top of this, bringing these up into a “bump” at the top to form the beak of your duck.
2.

Use the orange pen to fill in this beak.
3.

Add a small loop to the bottom of this…
4.

And then use a black pen to add a small dot to the left of this.
5.

Use a darker orange pen to shade the loop at the bottom of the beak…

Use a green pen to add an arrow shape to the back of the beak, and take the line up, across, and down, Bring the bottom of the “arrow” down parallel with this.

Fill this shape in with the green pen.
8.

Use a black pen to add a dot just above the beak for the eye.

Grab a light yellow pen, and add a layer to the bottom of the neck.
10.

Use a darker yellow pen to add a curved line to the bottom of this. Add a flick to the left side, and curve the right side down, across, and then across to the left and up towards the top left-hand corner of the page. Add color to the bottom of this shape.

Grab a light yellow pen, and add a wing to the main body of your duck.

Fill this in with the yellow pen…

And then use a black pen to add another wing shape inside this one.

Fill this new wing in with the black pen…
15.

And then add a wavy line to the bottom of this for another layer of feathers.
16.

Bring another line across underneath the top one, and then fill this in for another layer of feathers.
17.

Use the light brown pen to shade the bottom and side of the duck’s body…

And then use a green pen to add two points to the back, curving these in to meet the bottom of the body and create another layer of feathers.
19.

Use an orange pen to add a small foot to the bottom of the body…
20.

And fill this in with the orange pen.
21.

Add another leg and foot just in front of the first one.
22.

Use a gray pencil to add an oval below the feet, and shade this with the pencil.
And voila – we have your very own friendly, adorable duck; all that remains now is to give him the perfect name!
