Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Grab a black pen, and draw a “C” shape, angled at around 45 degrees, in the left of your page. Add a mark to the bottom of the “C”, and a wavy line next to the top section.

Add a pointed “flame” shape to the end of this line, pointing up towards the top right-hand corner of the page.

Now, add a curved point below this…

Next, add a smaller “double C” shape below the first one. Connect the inside section to the bottom of the first “C”.

Now, bring a line across, add another small curve to the right, and then add a “U” shape, angled at around 45 degrees to the end to create a fin.

Add another fin to the left of this first one…

And then connect the fins to the tail at the back with a curved line, adding two small fins at the back.

Add a line to the front, above the top of the mouth.

Now, add an almond shape above this, creating an eye. Shade the left side of this, leaving a small white dot towards the right.

Draw three curves behind the mouth for a set of gills…

Add a wavy line behind the gills…

And then another curved line in the gap at the top of the back.

At the top of this curved line, add a loop heading down, and another set of bumps down into the gap to create a wing.

Add a second wing to the back of the first.

Now, add a curved line inside the mouth…

And a row of razor-sharp teeth to the bottom of the mouth.

Next, use a red pen to shade the space inside this curved line.

Grab a blue pen for the rest of the mouth, and the bottom two-thirds of the body, as well as the tail and half of the wings.

Shade the gaps on the body with a light cyan pen…
20.
And then use a sky blue pen for the stomach.
And there we have it – a stunning fish complete with wings – all he needs is a name and an adventure!
