Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw two small circles in the center of your page. Add another small circle inside these, and shade the outer rings to create eyes.
2.

Add a small, curved triangle shape below these eyes, and shade this with the black pen.
3.

Add two curved lines to the bottom of this for the mouth.
4.

Next, add a wide oval shape below these curved lines for the mouth…
5.

And then add a curved line to the bottom of this, with two angled lines on either side meeting at the top with a curve.
6.

Now, add two curved, pointed ears to the top of the head…
7.

And then add another, smaller shape inside these. Connect these at the top to the outer section of the ear with a curved line.
8.

Add a curve to the bottom of the face, and then a “C” shape below this.
9.

Bring a line across in a loop on the right, and then add a curved line to the bottom of this, taking this across to the right. Add a “point” to the end of this, and then a curved line above – this will be a leg.
10.

Add another leg to the left of this…
11.

Now, add another loop to the top of the body, creating the second arm.
12.

Now, add a large, curved wing to either side of the body…
13.

And then add a curved patch to the center of the chest.
14.

Add a series of stripes to the wings with curved black lines, using the black pen.
15.

Shade the body with the orange pen, and apply the same shade to the top of the face and the outside of the ears.
16.

Add colors to the inside of the ears with a red pen.
17.

Use a green pen for the rest of the wing…
18.

And then use a gray pen for the bottom of the face, the outline of the body, and the bottom of the chest.
Now – all your new creature needs is a name, and he is ready for an adventure!
