Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a large oval right in the center of your page.
2.

Use a thin black pen to add a curved line to the center of this, angled slightly.
3.

Add an “avocado” shape to the bottom right of this line, and then add another shape outside this. Add a crescent moon shape behind this to form the first item on the plate. Repeat this shape to the left, angling this one so that the curved back lays flat.
4.

Add a jagged line across the top of this second shape, and add a series of small diamond and square shapes below this.
5.

Now, add a small circle to the center of the other shape, and add “petals” all around this.
6.

Add small pips inside each petal…
7.

And then add another circular shape to the left of this. Add two curved shapes along the top and bottom.
8.

Draw tiny oval shapes inside these semicircles…
9.

And then add a round shape to the right, with a small circle in the top left, and a stalk on top – do you see the tomato?
10.

Bring a curved line across from the top of the left shape, and “hook” this over at the end.
11.

Now, add two circles, one inside the other, above the hook. This is the eye of the fish.
12.

Now, add sprigs of parsley along the length of the fish’s body…
13.

Add a series of long, thin shapes across the fish, and add curved lines in the center of each.
14.

Add a square to the top of the circle on the bottom left, and add thin points inside this.
15.

Now, draw the tail of the fish with two points, and add a series of spikes inside this.
16.

Add a curved shape to the top for the fin of the fish, and then add a jagged shape inside this.
17.

Next, draw a series of small circles all across the body.
18.

Add a series of tall, thin rectangles to the top of the fish – every fish needs chips!
19.

Add a few more chips to the top…
20.

And fill this out with more chips on either side.
21.

Grab a yellow pen and use this to shade the lemon on the right.
22.

Next, use a red pen for the tomatoes…
23.

And a green pen for the parsley and salad.
24.

Use a slightly different shade of red for the rest of the tomatoes…
25.

And then use a black pen for the eyes, the mouth, and the gills.
26.

Shade the body of the fish with a brown pen.
27.

Then, use an orange or yellow pen for the fries at the top.
And voila – a delicious fish supper, just waiting for you to tuck in and enjoy!
