Frogs can be seen in a number of places – but on top of a mushroom? Well, why not! Let’s take a closer look, and bring this curious scene to life.

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Use a black pen to add a wavy line to the center of your page, and bring the ends up and in, and then add a “bump” to the top.
2.

Add a half-circle to either side of the top section, and then add small circles below this.
3.

Add a curved line below this, and connect the sides with a straight line.
4.

Add a half-circle to the top of this, and add a circle below.
5.

Add a curved line below this, bring the ends up, and then add a series of slightly curved “spikes” in the center.
6.

Connect this to the bottom of the mushroom with two curved lines, and add another stalk to the right shape.
7.

Add a short curved line above, and add small curved shapes to either end of the line.
8.

Bring two curved lines down on either side.
9.

Add two curved shapes on the side of the lines, and add small bumps to the bottom of this.
10.

Add a small circle inside each of the top “bumps”.
11.

Add a line down the center of each small circle…
12.

And then add two smaller circles in the center.

Add a curved smile to the bottom…

And add curved, vertical lines to the bottom of this.
15.

Now, use a pink pen to shade the mouth, the cheeks, and the top of the mushroom.

Use a brown pen to shade the left side of the eyes…

Use a green pen to shade the small circles for the nose…
18.

And then a light green pen for the body of the frog, and the grass at the bottom.
19.

Use an orange pencil to shade the stalks and the spots on the mushrooms.
And voila – a cute frog on top of a mushroom; all he needs is a name!
