Frogs look great in a rich array of outfits – be it formalwear, sleepwear, or athletic clothing. Accessories are also important – they can make or break the outfit. So without further ado, let’s create our own frog with a lovely hat – it’s time to get started!
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Grab a black pen, and draw an “m” shape in the left of your page, angling this slightly. Extend the left leg of the “m” down slightly.
Add a short “c” shape to the bottom of the “m”, and extend the bottom line of the “c” across to the right.
Add a short curve to the end, and add a curved line to the bottom.
Bring the line across slightly, and then add two bumps to the right of this.
Connect the left of this to the line above with a short, curved line, creating the mouth…
And then add two horseshoe shapes to the top section, underneath the “m” shapes.
Add smaller horseshoe shapes inside these larger ones…
And then add two dots below the curved lines for nostrils.
Now, bring two curved, parallel lines down on the right.
Add three long, thin sections to the bottom of this, pointing towards the right, to create the toes. Add a slight point to the back for the heel.
Bring a line up from the foot, take it up towards the top left-hand corner of the page, and curve it across to the right.
Add two short, curved lines to the bottom of this.
Now, add another foot to the bottom of these lines…
And bring another curved line down from the right of the eyes, towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page. At the bottom, curve this across to the left.
Add a diagonal line to the end of this. Then, add a curved line to the other side of this.
Add a larger foot to the back…
Connect the back leg to the front leg with a curved line…
Now, add a large loop to the top of the head, reaching out to the sides.
Now, add a curved, pointed shape to the top of this, giving your frog a cute hat.
Now, add small circles to the back and legs of the frog.
Grab a black pen, and fill in the center of the eyes.
Use a yellow pen for the hat…
And then fill in the tongue with a pink pen.
Add color to the top of the mouth with an orange pen…
And then use an aqua pen to add color to the back and body of the frog.
Use a black pen to connect the back legs to the front leg with a curved line…
And then shade the underside of the frog with a light green pen.
Now, who said that frogs don’t look cute with a hat on? What is the story of this cute amphibian – the rest is up to you!
