There are plenty of cute things to appreciate about frogs – they are small and cute, have large, expressive faces – and of course, have large, adorable eyes. Want to bring these wonderful creatures to life? Then let’s get started!
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start by using a black pen to draw a curved line in the center of your page, and add a large circular shape to either end, creating the top of the head of your frog.
Bring down a curved line from both bumps, and join these in the center with a curved line.
Add a large circle inside each of the bumps…
And then add another, smaller circle inside each of these.
Draw a wavy line across the bottom of the face…
And bring up a long, thin curved shape above the bottom of the face. Add two dots to the center.
Add a series of small circles across the center of the head…
Now, add a curved “n” shape to the bottom left of the face, angled at around 45 degrees, and then bring two parallel lines down at an angle from this.
Repeat this shape on the right, making this a little more pointed and a little less rounded.
Now, add four long, thin fingers to the bottom of the left shape…
Repeat this on the right arm…
And add short lines to the tips of each finger.
Connect the arms with a curved line across the center…
And then bring another two parallel lines across in an “arrow” on the left.
Add five spikes for toes at the back…
And connect this to the front leg and the bottom of the eye with two curved lines.
Next, add another foot behind the front leg.
Add more short lines to each of the toes on the left leg.
And add a horseshoe shape to the chest of the body.
Add small circles all across the back and legs of the frog.
Use a black pen to shade the inner section of the eyes, and the mouth at the bottom.
Grab a light green pen, and shade the tips of the fingers, the chest and stomach, and the bottom of the chin.
Finally, use an aqua shade for the main body of the frog.
And there we have it – your very own frog, with adorable large eyes – how could you resist that charm?
