Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by using a black pen to draw a curved “flame” shape in the left half of your page.
2.

Next, draw another “flame” shape, this time angled at 90 degrees towards the left, and add two “flicks” to the right of this. This will be the ear at the top of the horse’s mane.
3.

Bring a curved line down towards the bottom of your page, and add two “bumps” to the back of this.
4.

Then, bring a curved line down at the front, and angle this across to the right, and then down at the end.
5.

Add two circles to the top of the line for eyes, and add a mark above the left one for an eyebrow.
6.

Add small “rings” to the insides of the eyes…
7.

And then bring the line on the right down and back across to the left.
8.

At the end of this, bring the line down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page, add two “bumps”, and then bring a wavy line back in.
9.

Add a small circle to the top section – this will be the nose.
10.

Now, fill in the gap between the shapes with a series of short, vertical lines, and a curved horizontal line running through the middle to create horse’s teeth.
11.

Add a curved line below this for the other side of the neck…
12.

And then add a large half-circle shape to the end of this.
13.

Next, add a wavy shape just to the right of the neck to create the bottom of the mane.
14.

At the bottom of the half-circle, add two angled, parallel lines to create the back leg. Next, add another line to the left of this, and curve this up and across to just below the back.
15.

Add a hoof shape to the bottom of this leg…
16.

And then add two short, parallel lines to the end of the left curve.
17.

Connect this to the back with a wavy line.
18.

Now, add a front leg by bringing two lines across to the left, down, and then back in to the right.
19.

Add a hoof to the end of this leg.
20.

Now, bring two parallel lines down from the shape in front of this for the second front leg, and add another hoof.
21.

Add another back leg…
22.

And then add a curved line just above the second leg of the horse.
23.

Now, draw a tall “n” shape to the back of the horse, and add another wavy line to the side of this.
24.

Add a jagged line to the bottom and connect this to the top line with a point, creating a tail for your horse.
25.

Take a black fineliner pen, and add short marks to each of the hooves.
26.

Grab a brown pen, and add color to the tail, mane, and nostril of the horse…
27.

And then use an orange pen for the main body.
28.

Finally, grab a black pencil and use this to fill in the hooves and complete your horse.
And just like that, you have your very own funny horse to enjoy – all he needs is a name!
