Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw two small triangles in the left half of your page.
2.

Bring a line down from the bottom of the first triangle, heading towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page. Then, add another line to the bottom of this.
3.

Bring a wide “arrow” shape in, and then bring three short lines across to the right. Next, repeat this on the top, bringing a longer line out to the right.
4.

Add another longer line to the right of this, and then bring a line down to the bottom right-hand corner of the page. Add a short line to the right of this.
5.

Now, bring a short, vertical line down just behind this.
6.

Return to the section at the front. Bring a line down and across to the bottom right, and then bring a series of lines down in the same direction. Add a line pointing towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page. Bring a line up, and then use a series of shorter lines, heading towards the top right of the page to create the first leg.
7.

Create the second leg with two straight, parallel lines, and bring the right line across to the bottom right corner, take it up, and then across to meet the left line.
8.

Bring a horizontal line across at the right for the tummy, and then bring a line down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page. Add another leg, just as you did to the front one.
9.

Add a fourth leg to the back, and bring the back up to meet the line at the top.
10.

Next, create a tail by bringing a straight line across, up towards the top right corner of the page, and then across to the right. Take the end up to the top, and then back down to create the tail – remember to use shorter lines to create the larger line.
11.

Now, divide the section at the front of the face into smaller triangles by drawing lines where the dots are.
12.

Draw a line across the neck…
13.

And then fill in this space with other triangles.
14.

Add another diagonal line just behind this…
15.

And divide the space in front into three triangles. Then, add lines to the top of the front legs, and turn the space into a rectangle and a triangle.
16.

Divide the front leg into smaller triangles…
17.

And then repeat this with the back leg.
18.

Now, carefully divide the rest of the body into triangles by connecting the edges of the outside lines.
19.

Divide the first back leg into triangles…
20.

And then repeat this on the leg at the very back.
21.

Now, divide the bottom of the tail into a square, and split this in two to create triangles.
22.

Continue to divide the rest of the tail into triangles…
23.

And then use a red pen to add color to the right ear, the top of the tail, and two more triangles in the tail. Shade one triangle on each back leg and one on the front, and then two on the very front leg, followed by two triangles in the body.
24.

Use a black pen to shade a triangle in the face, creating a beady black eye…
25.

And then grab a purple pen for the other ear, the triangles under the eye, and those at the back of the neck. Then, add color to the triangle on top of the red ones on the front legs, and a triangle on each of the back legs, as well as the center at the bottom, and a few triangles on the tail.
26.

Use a blue pen to shade a few more triangles on the tail, one on each of the three back legs, and two on the front leg. Add color to two triangles on the face, and three on the body.
27.

Next, use a green pen to shade a few more triangles on the body.
28.

Add color to a few more spaces with the yellow pen.
29.

Now, use a brown pen to complete the tail, add color to a triangle on each leg, and a space on the face.
30.

Now, use a lighter pink for triangles on the legs, the rest of the head and neck, and the top of the back.
31.

Use an orange pen for a few more triangle sections…
32.

And then add color to a few more sections with a lime green pen.
33.

Now, use a dark blue pen for the rest of the triangles of the body and legs, leaving a blank space at the bottom of the second paw.
34.

Fill in this bottom space with a black pen.
And just like that, you have brought your very own geometric cat to life – what adventures will his journey take him on? The rest is up to you!
