# How to Draw a Geometric Dog

We all know that dogs are man’s best friend, so why not take a chance to create your very own through the power of art? We have all the steps that you need – let’s get started!

## Step-By-Step Images and Instructions

### 1.

Start by using a black pen to draw two small triangles, one in front of the other, in the center of your page.

### 2.

Now, add a long triangle to the bottom of these, and add a smaller triangle, pointing to the right, beside this.

### 3.

Add a triangle without a point to the right of this, and then a smaller one beside this. Draw a large triangle below, and then an inverted triangle below this. Follow this with another long, thin triangle at the bottom.

### 4.

Bring a long, thin triangle down from the bottom left of this, and then add another triangle to the bottom.

### 5.

Add a small triangle below the one you started with, and then add a slanted square to the bottom of this. Follow this with another long, thin triangle at the bottom.

### 6.

Add two triangles to the right of this, and then bring a large triangle down at the bottom. Follow this with two triangles, one pointing up and the other pointing down, to the right, and then add a smaller triangle to the bottom – do you see the face, ears, and neck of your dog starting to take shape?

### 7.

Add a large triangle to the left of the one at the bottom, and then another, larger triangle shape to the left of this.

### 8.

Bring another triangle out at the bottom, with the point facing down, and then add two long, thin triangles to the right. Follow this with three smaller triangles at the right end.

### 9.

Draw a large triangle at the left, and connect this with two more triangles to the right.

### 10.

Now, add another large triangle to the back, this time pointing towards the left.

### 11.

Add two more triangles to the left, and then add an angled line to the bottom left corner, before taking this down to the bottom of the page.

### 12.

Take the line across, up and in, and then up and across to the right to form a back leg. Repeat this with a shape in front, and then divide these legs into small triangles.

### 13.

Add another leg to the front, and divide this into small triangles.

### 14.

Now, add another three triangles to the top at the back…

### 15.

Bring a sharp, angled “C” shape around at the back, curving this across, up and to the right, and then divide this into smaller triangles.

### 16.

Use a green pen, a red pen, a yellow pen, and a blue pen, and shade the tail you just created. Use the same shades for the body, adding a light pink pen, a deep magenta pen, a navy pen, and a deep purple pen to some of the triangles.

And there we have it – a super cute geometric pooch, just waiting for his next adventure – but where will his travels take him next?
