Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a wide “V” in the center of your page, close to the top.
2.

Add a short line to the right of this, angled towards the top right-hand corner of the page. Then, bring another line, angled at 45 degrees downwards, to the right of this, and follow this with an angled line below, heading towards the bottom of the page. Below this, add another 45-degree line heading in towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page, and then another just below this.
3.

Repeat this shape on the other side to create the entire outline of the heart.
4.

Add a line to the center, making this slightly “jagged”.
5.

Now, add lines coming off from the central line, and angle these up at the end.
6.

In the top-right section, divide the shape into pieces with a series of crisscrossing lines.
7.

Divide the space below this into small triangles.
8.

Now, repeat this division on the top left corner…
9.

And on the bottom left corner.
10.

Grab a red pen, and shade the top section of the heart, as well as a diamond in the center. Then, add the red to the two triangles below this diamond, the space below this, and the triangles at the edge.
11.

Use a pink pen for the rest of the spaces at the bottom, and to the sections in the center and on the left.
12.

Then, use a light pink pencil for the remaining spaces to complete your design.
And voila – your very own stunning geometric heart to replicate and enjoy!
