Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin by using a black pen to draw a curved line in the center of your page. Bring the ends of this up, and curve them across and down in loops.
2.

Bring the line down on either side to form small horns.
3.

Bring a curved line down on either side and connect this at the bottom for the face.
4.

Now, add oval-shaped eyes in the center of this, and shade half of each.
5.

Add a small jagged line in the space in between the horns…
6.

And then add a dot above each of the eyes, with two dots close to the bottom. Below this, add a curved mouth.
7.

Add a curved, triangle shape to either side of the head…
8.

Next, bring a line down from below the left ear, and take this down towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page, across to the left in a wavy line, and then down towards the bottom of the page.
9.

At the bottom, take this line across at an angle, and then across straight up and angled towards the top right-hand corner of the page. Add a small hoof to the bottom of this leg.
10.

Bring a curved line across to the right…
11.

Add another leg just in front of the first one.
12.

Now, extend the central line slightly, and add a leg to the front, connecting this to the bottom of the face.
13.

Add another leg just in front of this one…
14.

And then add a curved line to the back with a jagged tail at the bottom.
15.

Now, add a jagged line down the back of the neck…
16.

Use a brown pen to shade the mane, the tail, and the hooves, as well as the horns, the bottom of the nose, and patches on the face and ears.
17.

Use a lighter brown pen to add patches to the body…
18.

And then shade the rest of the body with a yellow pen.
19.

Finally, use a brown pen for the center of the horns, and the mouth.
And there we have it – an adorable giraffe who looks like he is ready for fun, mischief, and adventure – who knows what he will be getting up to next?
