Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw two small circles in the center of your page, with the left one slightly larger than the right.
2.

Add a small dot inside each of the circles, and then add a curved line above each circle.
3.

Bring a line down the middle of the right circle, and then curve this down to the right, before looping it across to the left. At the top, take the line across.
4.

Return to the line on the right, and take this up, across to the left, and then straight down.
5.

Add a line to the right of this, connected to the loop…
6.

And then connect the circles in the face with a curved line.
7.

Now, add two tall loops to the top of the head…
8.

And then two small, almost closed circles in between these.
9.

Connect these to the top of the head with two sets of straight, parallel lines.
10.

Add a curved line to the top of the nose…
11.

And then add a series of patterns down the neck of the giraffe.
12.

Use a black fineliner pen to add two small circles to the nose, and then add two curved lines to the bottom for the mouth.
13.

Shade the rest of this space with a black pen, and then use the same shade for the patterns.
14.

Now, use an orange pen for the rest of the giraffe.
And voila – one super-smart-looking giraffe, waiting for any challenge that you have to throw at him – and he is as smart as he looks!
