Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black fineliner pen, and drawing a small circle shape in the center of your page, around an inch from the top.
2.

Bring two lines down from the bottom corners of this, both heading towards the bottom corners of the page.
3.

From here, bring wavy lines up and in, meeting at the top in a curved point.
4.

Add a “u” shape below this, and join the two sides at the top with three bumps…
5.

Before repeating this with an identical shape to the right.
6.

Join these two shapes with a curvy “v” below, to create the start of some flowers.
7.

Add two more shapes below, this time pointing in towards one another.
8.

Create stems for the top flowers by adding points to either side and connect these to the shapes you just drew.
9.

Then, add a long “V” shape emerging from the bottom of the hands.
10.

Next, bring down two bumpy lines from the left of the original shape, and join these at the bottom with a point.
11.

Repeat this on the other side…
12.

And then create a dress for your gnome with two curved lines down the side, connected with a curve at the bottom.
13.

Draw two sets of parallel lines, emerging from the bottom of the dress for legs.
14.

Then, add two horizontal “stripes” to each leg for cute tights.
15.

At the bottom of each leg, add two curved shapes for feet…
16.

And then use a light brown pen to shade the nose in the center, and the hands clutching the flowers.
17.

Use a pink pen for the tops of the flowers and the shoes…
18.

And then add color to the hair at the sides with a light gray pen.
19.

Go in with a light blue pen for the hat…
20.

And then use a dark teal pen for the dress and the main part of the types – leave the stripes bright and white!
21.

Grab a dark green pen, and use this to color the stem and leaves of the flowers.
And there we have it – proof that girl gnomes can be just as adorable as boys – and in this case, even more so!
