Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Grab a pencil, and add a curved line to the center of your page, with a curved, pointed shape to the right side.
2.

Add another small, curved point to the bottom of this, and then extend the original line down to the left slightly.
3.

Add a large wing to the end of this, with a bumpy line at the bottom for feathers. Add another layer of feathers to the bottom of this.
4.

Bring a curved line down from the bottom of this, and then take this across and up. Add two more curved shapes to the right of this.
5.

Add a “V” shape to the front of this, and bring this up to meet the bottom of the beak.
6.

Draw two pointed claws to the right.
7.

Use a black pen to add a small black dot to the top of the head for the eye.
8.

Grab a green pen, and add a line to the neck, before shading the bottom of the feathers, and the central tail feather.
9.

Use a light green pen to shade the main wing, and the back of the head, as well as the space around the eye.
10.

Grab a lime green pen or pencil, and shade the rest of the body…
11.

And then use a dark green pen to shade the remaining tailfeather.
12.

Use a red pen to shade the beak and a darker red pen for the section below.
13.

Use a gray pencil to shade the claws.
