Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin with an orange pen, and draw a small, curved triangle shape at the top of your page, leaving the top a little flatter.
2.

Bring down a curved line on the left, heading towards the bottom of the page, and another to the right, curving across to the right and then down.
3.

Add two small triangles to the top for ears, and then add stripes to the face.
4.

Add a patch to the left of the cat…
5.

And then use a red pen to add a jaunty bow tie just below the chin.
6.

Now, switch to a black pen, and use this to add thick outlines to the ears.
7.

Use the black pen to add two curved eyes, a triangle nose, and a curved smile to the face.
8.

Add a pointed tongue with the red pen…
9.

And then use a gray pen to outline the main areas of the face and the edges of the stripes.
10.

Fill in the rest of the face with the gray pen.
11.

Use the gray pen to go over the orange outlines…
12.

And then use this to add two legs to the front of the cat, just below the chest.
13.

Now, continue the line on the back down slightly, add a bump, and then bring the line across to the left, up, and add a “C” shape to the top of this for the haunches of your cat. Connect this to the front of the cat with a short, curved line.
14.

Now, use the gray pen to add a large, curved tail to the back of your cat…
15.

And use the gray pen to shade the body of your cat, as well as the tail.
16.

Next, add a wide oval around the bottom of your cat.
17.

Lightly shade this with the gray pen…
18.

And then use the black pen to add whiskers to the face.
Now, isn’t that the cutest gray cat you’ve ever seen? Time to take him on an adventure, and make sure that he gets a warm, loving home!
