Start by using a black pen to draw a wavy line across the top of your page.

Add another wavy line just below this, and connect the two at the right end with a point.

Connect the lines at the left end with a circle shape…

And then add two curved shapes to the end of this.

Now, draw two small circles inside this first section.

Shade these in using the black pen…

And add two curved shapes just behind the top of the head, with a “teardrop” shape in the center.

Follow this with a series of shapes and patches all across the length of the snake.

Shade the space between the patches with a yellow pen…

And then use an orange pen for the remaining sections.
