Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black pen, and drawing a circle in the left of your page. Add a smaller circle inside this, and fill this in completely, before adding two smaller circles to the left.
2.

Draw an almond shape around this, with the point heading down, and make the line at the top thicker.
3.

Add a series of curved lines for lashes – this will be one of your horse’s eyes.
4.

Now, draw a small triangle to the left of the eye.
5.

Bring a curved line down on the left, and take this in and then back down in a “u” shape.
6.

Add another small “u” to the right of this, and then a thinner “u” in the center for the mouth. Add a mark to the top of this.
7.

Bring another curved line up to form the jaw at the back of the face.
8.

Now, add a small teardrop shape to the left of the mouth, with a curved line to the side – this will be the nostril.
9.

Create an ear at the top of the head with a large almond shape, and another shape outside this.
10.

Now, bring a line down from the bottom left of the ear, curving towards the left. Take this to a point, and then curve the line back up for the forelock.
11.

Add curved lines across the forelock…
12.

And then a second ear to the left of the first.
13.

Now, bring down a curved line from the bottom of the right ear, heading towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
14.

Now, add a “hook” to the end of this, and follow this up with a series of tall, curved points heading to the left, creating the mane.
15.

Bring a line down from the bottom of the jaw, and then add a curved line to the left.
16.

Now, create the front leg by adding an “arrow” shape to the left, with a bump at the point and at the end. Bring a line across at an angle, and then follow the line back up towards the top right-hand corner of the page.
17.

Now, add another leg to the bottom of the one you have just drawn.
18.

Connect the top line to the chest with a curved line…
19.

And then add hooves to the end of each leg.
20.

Bring curved lines across at the top and bottom for the back and tummy.
21.

Connect the lines at the top and bottom with a “C” shape line, and then continue this past the bottom, heading towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page, with two bumps at the end.
22.

Add a curved, pointed shape to the end of this…
23.

And add a hoof to the bottom of this.
24.

Bring the bottom of the leg across to the right and then up…
25.

And add a curve to connect this to the line at the top.
26.

Add another curve to the back…
27.

And then another hoof to the left of the back one.
28.

Connect this to the body with another leg.
29.

Now, add a tail to the back, bringing the lines out and then in to a point at the bottom.
30.

Add a few wavy lines to the tail for texture.
31.

Grab a pink pen, and shade the tail, mane, and hooves, as well as the eyebrows and the nostril.
32.

Use an orange pen for the inside of the mouth and the inside of the ears.
33.

Now, use a bright blue pen for the eye…
34.

And grab a gray pen to shade the bottom of the tummy, the hindquarters, the chest, and the bottom of the legs.
And there we have it – your very own super cute horse, just taking a moment to kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet – what could be better?
