Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Grab a pencil and a ruler, and draw a square in the center of your page, just above the bottom.
2.

Add a triangle to the top of this for the roof, and then bring a vertical line down the center.
3.

Add a line to the top of the roof on both sides, and connect this with angled lines.
4.

Add another layer to the top of the roof…
5.

And then add small marks, equal distance apart, in this top section.
6.

Connect these marks using small angled lines to create “wedges”.
7.

Bring a line up on the left, and take this across and down, then connect the edge to the roof.
8.

Add two horizontal lines to the top section of the house…
9.

And then add a rectangle to the right, with a vertical line to the right.
10.

Add a long, thin rectangle to the left…
11.

And then add two vertical lines downwards on the left side.
12.

Add a “frame” to the inside of this small square.
13.

Add a vertical line to the top of the left-hand rectangle.
14.

Now, add a small square just below this, and a small circle for the handle.
15.

Add a long rectangle to the bottom, and a shorter one just above this for the doorstep.
16.

Now, add a half-circle to the sides of the house.
17.

Use a black fineliner to go over the lines so far.
18.

Use an eraser to remove the remaining pencil lines…
19.

And then use an orange pen for the main body of the house.
20.

Grab a dark orange pen, and shade the chimney and the bottom of the roof.
21.

Use a gray pen for the edge of the doors and windows…
22.

And then shade the door with a dark brown pen.
23.

Use a black pen to shade the steps at the bottom of the door…
24.

And then color the glass with a blue pen.
25.

Grab a green pen, and shade the buses on either side of the house.
26.

Shade the handle of the door with a yellow pen…
27.

And then shade the top of the roof with a black pen.
And there we have it – a super cute house just waiting for a family; but what adventures will take place behind the brown door?
