1.
Use a ruler and a pencil to add a rectangle to the bottom of your page.
2.
Now, add a long, thin rectangle to the bottom of this, extending the edges slightly.
3.
Add a small rectangle to the center for a door, and add small squares to the sides for windows.

Now, add a frame to the doors and windows…

And add six “legs” to the bottom of the long, thin rectangle for the stands.

Now, connect the two central “legs” with two horizontal sections.

Add a tall rectangle to the top of the building, and a long, thin rectangle to the top of this.
8.
Bring a diagonal line down from the top corners of this, heading towards the bottom corners of the page.
9.
Add two zigzag lines across this section…

Use the ruler to add a series of vertical lines down the length of the building, all the way across.

Use a black fineliner pen to go over all the outlines in your drawing…

And then use an eraser to remove pencil marks.
13.
Shade the roof of the hut using a yellow pen.
14.
Use a brown pen to shade the main building…
15.
And a light brown pen for the deck and the frames of the doors and windows.
16.
Shade the inside of the doors and windows with a black pen.
17.
Finally, use the black pen to add small vertical dashes to the top of the house for texture.
And there we have it – a mysterious hut, with a mysterious inhabitant inside – but do you dare to take a peek through the windows?
