Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin with a black pen, and draw a large, loopy ear in the left of your page.
2.

To the right of this, add another set of curved lines, one next to the other.
3.

Now, bring a wavy line down from the first line, and curve this across to the left.
4.

Add a small circle shape to the end of this…
5.

And then continue a wavy line across to the right, creating your dog’s nose.
6.

Bring a wavy “S” shape up from the right of this line…
7.

And then add another curved line to the bottom, creating the bottom of the face.
8.

Add a small “bump” to the right of this, just below the nose…
9.

And then extend the top and bottom lines out a little further.
10.

At the end of the top line, add a large triangle shape for the second ear.
11.

Bring a curved line down from this, and curve this across to the right, and then back down.
12.

Add two small, curved marks inside the face…
13.

And then two circles below this for eyes! Add a small white dot in the center of each eye, and fill in the surrounding space.
14.

Bring a curved line down from the bottom of the jaw, and then another vertical one from the bottom of this.
15.

Add a “point” to this, and then a curved line to the bottom.
16.

Now, continue the line down, flicking out to the left at the end…
17.

And add three small “bumps” for your pup’s paws.
18.

On the right of this, bring the line up, flick it out to the right, and then continue it back up and across.
19.

Add a wide “bump”, and then a curved line to the right of this…
20.

And follow this with two curved, parallel lines heading down the page.
21.

22.

And then bring a curved line across. Add a wavy line descending from the bottom of this.
23.

Add a second wavy line to the left of the first…
24.

And then join the ends of these with another paw.
25.

Now, bring two sets of parallel lines down at the back…
26.

And add the fourth paw to the bottom.
27.

Add two parallel lines to the top of the back, joining these at the top with a curve to create a tail.
28.

Add a short mark across the center of this, and then a curved line at the bottom.
29.

Now, add a large square “patch” to the back, and a smaller oval patch below this.
30.

Use the black pen to add a smattering of dots around the nose…
31.

And then fill in the tip of the nose with the black pen.
32.

Finally, use a brown pen to fill in the patches and complete the design.
And just like that, you have your very own super cute Jack Russell pup to play with – now all he needs is a name.
