Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by using a black pen to draw the nose and mouth of your pup on the right side of your page, with a small triangle, on top of two curved lines.
2.

Fill in the nose with the black pen…
3.

And then add two circles, almost completely filled in save for two small dots, above this for eyes.
4.

Add a bumpy line above the eyes, and then leave a small gap before continuing this on the right.
5.

In the gap, add a triangle shape for one ear, with a small mark to the left of this.
6.

Repeat this on the left for the second ear…
7.

And then add another bumpy, slightly jagged, line descending to the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
8.

Now, add a paw to the right, with two curved liens ending in three “bumps”.
9.

Inside the outline, add a strong black pawprint…
10.

And then continue the right line of this down towards the bottom left of your page.
11.

Add a large curved shape to the back of your pooch, and curve this down and across to the right…
12.

Before adding a paw to the bottom with a long thin line ending in a small set of toes.
13.

Bring a short line up from the right of this, and then add another set of parallel lines, ending in a small paw at the bottom. Add smaller marks for toes…
14.

And extend the line from the right paw down a little further.
15.

Now, bring a line down from the bottom of this to end in a fourth paw…
16.

And use a pink pen to shade the inside of the ears.
17.

Grab a gray pen, and use this to add two small marks, like speech marks, above each eye.
And voila – a super cute Japanese Spritz dog, waving his new family hello – but will he be curling up in front of your fire?
