Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

To begin, use a black pen to draw a small half-circle shape, angled towards the top left-hand corner of the page, and then bring a wavy line across to the right. Take this wavy line down slightly at the end.
2.

Add two pointed ears to the right of this line, heading up towards the top right-hand corner of the page.
3.

Connect the two ears with a short line…
4.

And then bring a line down from the bottom of the nose, flicking this across to the left at the end.
5.

Next, bring a horizontal line across below this, taking this to the left, and looping it across and down towards the right of the page.
6.

Add another long, looping leg just above this.
7.

Add short curved lines inside each leg, and then add a curved line to the bottom.
8.

Add a large “C” shape to the end of this, making the bottom section slightly wavy.
9.

Now, bring a line down behind the left ear, and take this across to the right.
10.

Take this line down slightly to form the top of the back, and then take this across to the right.
11.

Add a curved back leg with two parallel lines ending in a loop…
12.

And then add a second back leg behind this.
13.

Now, add short curved lines to the top of each of the back legs, just as you did on the front.
14.

Bring a line across from below the nose, and then take this to a jagged line down to meet the top of the front leg, creating that distinctive white fox chest.
15.

Draw a small almond shape above this…
16.

And shade this in almost completely with the black pen, leaving a small white dot in the middle.
17.

Now, bring a large, curved, bushy tail out from the back of the fox.
18.

Add a wavy line to the end of this to create the tip of the tail…
19.

And then add another short mark to the bottom of each ear.
20.

Shade the tops of the ears with a brown pen, and use the same color for the end of the nose and the ends of the legs.
21.

Use a lighter orange to shade the main body of the fox, leaving the chest, tummy and tip of the tail white.
And there we have it – your own graceful, majestic fox soaring high across the landscape. Why not take a little time to learn more about these beautiful creatures; they are truly fascinating!
