Monkeys are cheeky, curious, and sociable, and are always leaping and jumping from place to place – as we shall see when we bring the scene to life in just a few short steps!
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Use a black pen to draw a circle in the center of your page, and then add two curved shapes to the top and the bottom.
Add small “D” shapes inside each of these for ears…
And then add a shape with three “bumps” in the center of the face.
Add two small circles for eyes…
And then add two small crescent moon shapes inside each of these small circles.
Now, add a smaller circle below the eyes, and add a smaller shape to the left of this.
Next, add a curved shape, with a “bite” taken out of it, below this head – this will be the hand.
Add a banana to the hand, with a curved line at the top and bottom, connected to a curve at the back. Add short curves to the top and bottom.
Connect the hand to the bottom of the face with two curved lines.
Now, add another arm to the top right, and add another hand to the end of this.
Draw a large “C” shape behind the head, angled at around 45 degrees, and then add curved legs to the back, pointing towards the top left corner.
Now, add another curved shape to the end of each of these…
And bring a long, curved tail out from the back.
Now, use a yellow pen for the banana…
And a green pen for the top and bottom.
Grab a brown pen, and shade the eyes, the nose, and the main body.
Now, use a brown pencil for the hands, feet, and face.
And voila – a super cute monkey, just hanging out and waiting for adventure. But where will his journey take him?
