1.

Start with a pencil, and add a curved line just to the right or center of your page. Bring a curved line up at either end and then add a dashed curved line across the top.
2.

Add points to each of these dashed lines, and top them with small circles to create the crown of your king.
3.

Bring a curved line down on either side from the bottom, and then add an angled, bumpy line to the left side.
4.

Now, add two small circles for the eyes, on either side of a curved nose.

Add a wide, magnificent moustache to the space below this…

Add a beard to the bottom of this, using bumpy lines.
7.

Bring a curved line across from the sides of this, and then add another line below each of these.
8.

Add small oval shapes to the ends of these for the fingers…
9.

Grab a ruler, and add two diagonal, parallel lines to the right hand.
10.

Add a diamond shape to the top of this for a scepter, and then add an oval to the top of this, and three across the middle.
11.

Bring two curved lines down from the bottom of the arms, and bring these inwards, leaving a small gap in the center.
12.

Add a “U” shape to the bottom of the beard, and add a bumpy line around this.
13.

Add a ring shape to the center of the body, and connect this to the sides of the body with two lines on both sides.
14.

Bring curved lines up from the gap at the bottom to meet the belt, and add a line from the top of this to the shape above. Then, add a curved line to the bottom of the coat.

Add a hand to the end of the left arm…

Now, bring two parallel lines down from the bottom of the coat, and add two boots to the bottom. Add a small ring shape to the left of each boot.

Add two pointed curves to the side of the beard, one on each side, for the top of the cloak…

And then bring down wavy lines to the sides, ending in points at the bottom corners, for the rest of the cloak.

Now, use a gray pencil to add small egg shapes to the section at the bottom of the crown.

Use a red pen for the outside of the cloak, the gem at the throat, and the jewels on the scepter and crown.
21.

Use a brown pen for the boots, the belt, and the handle of the scepter.
22.

Use a lighter brown pen for the trousers.
23.

Now, use a yellow pen for the top of the scepter, and the crown.

Use the red pen for the gems at the bottom of the crown…
25.

And then use a green pen for the trimmings.
26.

Use a lighter green pen for the rest of the coat…
27.

And use a yellow pen for the outside of the gem.

Now, use a black pen to shade the corners of the eyes.
29.

Shade the back of the cloak with a gray pencil.
30.

Take your yellow pen and use it to color the rings on the boots.
31.

Grab the gray pencil, and shade the beard and hair…
32.

And finish by adding a little color to the hands with a pale orange pencil.
And there we have it – a wise, handsome king, waiting to rule the nation. All that remains is to find him the perfect queen!
