Koalas are cute, cuddly, and smart, and there is plenty to learn about them! Let’s get started by learning how to draw our very own adorable cuddly koala in just a few short steps.

1.

Grab a thick black pen, and draw a curve in the left of your page.
2.

Add three “points” to the right of this…
3.

Now, add a smaller jagged line inside this, creating one koala ear.

Add another ear to the left…
5.

And then bring a curved line across on the left.
6.

Add another curved line to the bottom of the face…
7.

And then add three curved points to the left of this.
8.

Add a “C” shape to the right of this, and add two points to the back of this.
9.

Add three more points to the bottom, and bring the curve across to the right.
10.

Add two more points to the end, bringing the line upwards…
11.

And connect this to the bottom of the head.
12.

Add two circles to the face, and then a tall half circle in the center, with marks on either side.
13.

Shade the left side of each eye, leaving a small dot on the right side of each…
14.

Add a tuft to the left ear…
15.

And use a brown pen to add lines to the ear and the bottom of the body.
16.

Add a curved line to the end of each of these, pointing towards the bottom left of the page.
17.

Add a long, thin loop to the top line…
18.

And connect this to the bottom with a curved line. Add tall, pointed shapes to the bottom of this to create a log.

Add curved lines to the top of the log…

Use a gray pen to shade the nose, leaving a sliver of white in the left.
21.

Use a gray pencil to add a jagged line to the bottom of the arm and the top of the leg.
22.

Add a jagged line to either side of the face.
23.

Use the gray pencil to add color to the outside of each of these lines.
24.

Use a light brown pencil to shade the log…
25.

And use a yellow pencil for the top of the log.
