Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by grabbing an orange pen, and drawing a jagged circle in the right of your page.
2.

Add a curved shape to the center of this, with a “bump” at the top.
3.

Now, add a half circle shape on either side of this…
4.

And a crown at the very top of this.
5.

Use the orange pen to shade the space around these smaller shapes…
6.

And then use a black pen to draw three short lines to the top of the crown.
7.

Use the black pen to draw an oval nose at the bottom of the main shape, and add curved lines to the bottom of this for the mouth.
8.

Draw two dots above the nose for eyes, and then add marks to the top of each eye for brows.
9.

Grab a pink pen, and draw two small circles inside each of the ears, and then two circles for the cheeks.
10.

Use a yellow pen for the rings of the ears…
11.

And then the same shade to add color to the bottom of the face.
12.

Color the space above this curved line with the yellow pen.
13.

Bring a line across to the left, take this down, and then angle it towards the bottom left-hand corner. Add a loop for the leg, and take the line up, across to the right, and add another leg at the front.
14.

Shade the body with the yellow pen…
15.

And then add a curved tail to the top, pointing towards the top left-hand corner.
16.

Use the black pen to add a teardrop shape to the top of the tail…
17.

And then use a light brown pen for another leg at the back.
18.

Add a second paw to the front to complete the look.
And there we have it – your lion has his very own crown, and can claim his rightful place as king!
