Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Grab a gray pencil and a ruler, and draw two parallel, vertical lines on the left of your page. Join these at the bottom with a horizontal line extending slightly beyond the vertical ones.

Add a long rectangle to the top of this shape…

Now, add a rectangle to the bottom of the shape…

And add a small vertical line inside each of the edges.

Add horizontal lines to the bottom section…

And then add a diagonal line to each end, and join this with a straight line at the bottom.

Add two sets of horizontal lines to the bottom section.

Add a tall rectangle to the main body of the shape, and add a vertical line around third of the way across.

Add a smaller rectangle to the left section for a window, and then a small vertical line to the right section for the door handle.

Follow this with a rectangle in the left of the main shape…

And then a tall, thin rectangle to the top right of the roof, with a horizontal line coming out to the left of this.

Connect this to the rectangle below with three vertical lines.

Bring a horizontal line across the bottom, and connect this to the shape below.

Divide this into smaller squares…

And then bring up two squares on the left hand side for pots, and plants above.

Bring a straight line out to the right, and then add a rectangle shape to the end of this.

Add a smaller rectangle inside the larger one, and divide this into four vertical rectangles. Add a “loop” to the bottom.

Connect this to the section above with a vertical line and then a horizontal line…

And divide the new shape using horizontal lines.
20.
Add vertical lines to alternate rows of this for bricks…

Then add lines in between for more brickwork.

Use the ruler to bring two lines forward from the garage on the right.

Add a wavy line to the right, across and down, and then a wavy line on the left.
24.
Add tall, thin plants to the side of the house and the side of the garage.

Use a black pen to go over all your lines…

And use an eraser to remove any pencil marks.
27.
Use a green pen for the foliage around the house and the grass at the bottom.
28.
Use a blue pen for the glass of the windows.
29.
Use a light gray pen for the stone and brickwork, and a darker gray for the garage door.
30.
Now use a light brown pen for the trunk of the trees and plants.
And there we have it – your dream home, just as you designed it!
