Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Use a black pen to add a small triangle to the center of your page, and then add a curved line to either side.
2.

Add a curve below the nose, and then add a flick to either side.
3.

Add an oval to the side of this, and bring two lines down from the sides. Add a spiky shape to the bottom for the top of the fruit.
4.

Add a circle to the right, and then complete the outline of the banana.
5.

Add the face of the monkey with an “m” at the top, and curves at the side.
6.

Add another layer to the outside of the face, leaving a gap in the top…
7.

And then add a tuft of hair to this gap.
8.

Add a large, circular ear to either side of the face…
9.

And then add a curve just below the top of the ears, and a smaller curve below this.
10.

Bring a curved line down on the left, take this across and up for the arm, and then add a circle to the end.
11.

Add a larger circle to the side of this, and then add an upside-down heart to the bottom of this.
12.

Bring a curved line down on the right, and then add an angled leg to the end of this, with a circle for a foot at the end.
13.

Add another leg to the left…
14.

And then add a curved tail snaking across to the right.
15.

Add two thin ovals below the eyes…
16.

And use a light orange pen to shade the feet, face, ears, and tummy.
17.

Use a slightly darker orange pen for the nose…
18.

And then use a deep orange shade for the banana.
19.

Grab a brown pen, and use this to shade the main body of the monkey.
And there we have it – a cheeky monkey enjoying a tasty banana; did you ever see a happier sight?
