Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a curved shape, with the bottom wider than the top, in the center of your page.
2.

Add two rings to the top of the head for ears.
3.

Now, add a curved “m” shape to the top of the shape, with the bottoms curved in slightly.
4.

Connect the bottoms with a “U” shape, and then add two circles to the top of this.
5.

Draw two smaller circles inside these larger ones.
6.

Now, add two small, teardrop-shaped nostrils below the eyes, and a curved mouth at the bottom of this.
7.

Add two curved shapes to the bottom of the face.
8.

Now, add a smaller curve to the bottom of this, and take the line across and in, angled up towards the top corners of the page to form the arms.
9.

Now, add two small curves to the sides of this for the sides of the body, and add a line just inside each of these to connect the body to the arms.
10.

Continue the curves of the body down the side…
11.

And then add a horizontal curve to the center of the body.
12.

Add a curve to the bottom of each of these, and bring this in and up for the feet and legs.
13.

Now, add a large oval shape to the center o the body…
14.

And a wing, with two sharp, curved points, to the sides of each of the shoulders.
15.

Add another wing outside these initial ones, with spiky, curved edges.
16.

Then, add curved lines across the wings, in towards the body.
17.

Use the black pen to shade the outside of the eyes…
18.

And a brown pencil for the tummy, the face, and the inside of the ears.
19.

Now, use a brown pen for the main portion of the body.
And voila – if your monkey could fly, this is just what it would look like; and who knows what wonderful adventures may be in store?
