Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a small oval at the top of your page, making the tops and the bottoms flat.
2.

Add two small circles to this shape, with a line above each circle.
3.

Now, add a large, curved “n” shape all around the top and sides, curving the bottoms in slightly.
4.

Add a long, curved “loop” to the left for one arm, and mirror this on the right side, adding a rounded end to this.
5.

Bring two parallel lines down from the bottom of the arms. Take these out slightly, and then bring them backing and up, joining them in the center with a curve for the legs.
6.

Bring two curved, parallel lines across from the right, just above the legs, and add a circle shape to the end of this.
7.

Add three rectangle shapes around this, creating almost a sun shape.
8.

Now, add a small, curved square to the bottom of the left arm, and bring two parallel lines up from the top of this. Add a thick black line to the top of both to connect them.
9.

Fill in this shape with the black pen, leaving small diamond shapes on the length.
10.

Now, bring two curved lines up on either side of this, and join these with an angled line at the top for the sword.
11.

Use a black pen to add color to the main body of your ninja, as well as the handle of the sword, leaving the details white.
12.

Use a yellow pen to fill in the details on the handle of the sword…
13.

And then use a red pen for the belt.
14.

Grab a gray pencil and use this to shade the sword.
15.

Finally, use a light orange pen to shade the face of the ninja.
Phew – a successful attempt to capture a ninja! But don’t get too complacent – there are plenty more out there to capture and draw…
