Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Grab a black fineliner, and add a curved line to the center of your page. Add bumps to the sides, and then a larger shape at the bottom to create the outline of the face.
2.

Add two circles inside the side bumps.
3.

Add two “teardrop” shapes inside these circles, and add small circles inside each.
4.

Add two curved shapes to the bottom of these for nostrils, and two shapes at the top of the head.
5.

Add a large half-circle shape to the bottom of the face, and then add a curved line inside this with a small mark at the top.
6.

Bring two curved lines down from the bottom of the face, and curve these out, down and across, adding a “bump” to the bottom.
7.

Add two curved, half-circle shapes to the bottom corners of this shape.
8.

Add two curved shapes across the body…
9.

And bring two shapes up to the sides, making these slanted at the top.
10.

Add oval shapes to the bottom of the sword blade…
11.

And add a line to the center of each blade.
12.

Add diagonal lines to the insides of the blades.
13.

Bring two more “loop” shapes to the sides, pointing up towards the top corners.
14.

Add a small circle to the bottom of each…
15.

And then join these to the body with curved square shapes.
16.

Now, add two feet to the bottom of the body with three circles at the bottom of each.
17.

Join the toes with curved lines, and add a circle to the back of the body.
18.

Use a black pen to shade alternative sections of the blades, the belt on the body, the top of the mouth, the eyes and the nostrils.
19.

Use a black pencil for the main body, and the rest of the blades…
20.

And then use a yellow pen for the eyes.
21.

Use a red pen to shade the tongue…
22.

Use a green pen for the face of your frog…
23.

And then shade the circle with an orange pen.
And there we have it – a ninja frog, just waiting for adventure – what could be better?
