Pandas are wonderful creatures, but they are also sadly in danger – and it is up to us to ensure that they are kept as safe as possible. To help celebrate these amazing animals, we will learn to draw our very own cute panda girl – are you ready to get started?
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start with a pencil and a drawing compass, and add a small circle to the top of your page.
Now, add a small triangle-shaped nose to the center of this, and add two curves to the bottom of this.
Next, add a small “crescent moon” shape to either side of the nose, and surround each of these with a large, circular patch.
Now, add a small circle to the top of the head, and add a bow shape to either side of this. Bring two curved lines out from the top of the central circle.
Add two small, curved ears on either side of the bow…
Bring down two curved lines from the bottom of the face, and join these at the end with a curved line.
Add another set of lines inside these, and then bring two angled lines down at the bottom, pointing towards the bottom corners of the page. Join these with a wavy line in the center.
Now, bring out two “loops” on the sides, reaching these up for the arms.
Add three small circles to the end of each arm, with another, larger circle below for the paws.
Bring two curved legs down from the bottom of the wavy line of the dress, and add a short line across the top of each of these.
Now, add a bow to the right of each of these lines, with two “loops” and two points to the right of these.
Use a black pen to go over your pencil lines, and add three marks to the bottom of each leg.
Use an eraser to remove any remaining pencil lines…
And then use a pink pen for the shoes at the end of the legs, the skirt, the paws, the nose, the bow on the head, and the inside of the ear.
Use a black pen for the outside of the ears, the eye patches, the arms, the legs, and the outside of the body.
And voila – you have brought your very own adorable girl panda to life, and she is ready to dance – all that she needs now is a name!
