Pandas are known for their love of bamboo, but have you ever seen one enjoying his favorite treat? Well, let’s look for ourselves!
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start with a black pen, and draw a wide, oval shape in the center of your page, with the bottom slightly wider than the top.
Now add two more curved “kidney” shapes inside this larger one.
Draw a small circle inside the left smaller shape…
And then two smaller circles inside this one. Add a thicker arrow shape inside the right shape.
Draw another oval shape between the eyes, and then add a long, thin oval inside this…
And then add a curved “W” shape below this, taking the ends to a point and then back in to form a “U” at the bottom.
Draw a curved line across the bottom of this shape…
And then two curved ears on the top of the head.
Now, bring a longer, slightly curved shape down from the bottom right of the face, angling this towards the left slightly.
Next, add two diagonal, parallel lines to the left of the face, and join these at the end with a curved line.
Add a curved shape to the bottom of this stick shape, and then connect the top of it to the bottom of the face with two curved lines.
Add two leaves to the left of the stick of bamboo, with curved lines in the center…
And then add lines down the length of the stem.
Now, add two more curved shapes to the bottom, below the arms.
And then add smaller circles inside each of these.
Connect these bottom shapes with a curved line at the bottom, and then add another curved line just below the face.
Use a black pen to shade the space in the left eye, leaving the smaller circles white, and shade the nose and the top of the mouth.
Use the black pen for the ears, the patches around the eyes, and the sections at the bottom of the body.
Use a green pen to shade the bamboo.
Use a red pen for the inside of the mouth.
And voila – a gorgeous panda enjoying his favorite treat. Why not take some time to research more about these majestic creatures – there is plenty to learn about them and enjoy!
