Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a pencil and ruler, and draw an angled rectangle in the center of your page.
2.

Add two lines close to the center of your rectangle, and then add two sets of lines to each section, creating “stripes”.
3.

Add two curved shapes to the bottom of the rectangle…
4.

And then another two curved lines to the top of this.
5.

Add a half-circle shape just above the bottom one, using the same double lines.
6.

Add a small half-circle shape to the top section, and the one up from the bottom for the ends of the clip.
7.

Use a black fineliner to go over the outlines…
8.

And use an eraser to remove any remaining pencil marks.
9.

Shade the paperclip with a gray pen to complete your drawing.
And voila – your very own handy paperclip; make sure you don’t take it for granted!
