Parks are wonderful open spaces that allow us all a chance to run, play and enjoy the wonder of the fresh air. To help celebrate these fantastic creations, We have put together all you need to know to bring your own park to life in just a few short steps – let’s get started.

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Grab a ruler and pencil, and draw a horizontal line across the bottom third of your page. Add two slightly shorter lines below this one.
2.

Bring two sets of parallel, vertical lines up from the bottom line.
3.

Add a long, thin rectangle across the top horizontal line, and then add two wider rectangles above this.
4.

Draw a tall rectangle to the left of the outline, and bring a vertical line up through the center.
5.

Draw two vertical lines at the top, and then a slightly longer line above this. Join the top two lines with angled lines, and add a curve to the top of this.
6.

Bring a vertical line up from both the ends of the second horizontal line.
7.

Use a compass to add two half-circle shapes to the top, add straight lines to the bottom, and then add a circle to the side of the right shape.
8.

Draw small half circles to the bottom corners of the square you just created.
9.

Add a half-circle shape to the top of the right line, and a large circle to the top of the left line.
10.

Bring lines up on the sides of this tree for branches.
11.

Now, add a teardrop-shaped tree to the right line…

And add a small bump to the sides of the half circles at the bottom.
13.

Use a black pen to go over the pencil outlines.
14.

Remove the pencil marks with an eraser.
15.

Shade the sun with a bright yellow pen…
16.

Use a green pen for the top of the tree, and the shapes at the bottom.
17.

Now, use a brown pen for the bench…
18.

And use a black pen to add a dot to the ends of the slats of the bench.
19.

Grab a black pen, and shade the bottom of the lampost.
20.

Next, use a dark green pen to shade the bottom section.
21.

Finally, fill in the sky with a bright blue pen.
And voila – you have your very own park to roam free and explore we can feel the wind on our faces already!
