Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Use a blue pen to add two curved lines to the left of your page, and join these at the left with a straighter line. Add a curved line to the right of this.
2.

Now, add an angled “U” shape to the bottom of this, and add another shape inside this first one.
3.

Bring a curved line down at the bottom of this, curving to the right, and then bring a curved line up, across and down, before bringing the line up at the end for the top of the parrotfish.

Now, add two small fin shapes to the end of the bottom line.
5.

Add a circle to the back of the mouth for the eye, and then add a curved line behind this.
6.

Continue the curved line up slightly, and then add another, larger fin to the top of this.
7.

Bring a curved line across from the right of this, and then add a pointed tail to the back of the fish.

Add small marks inside the tail for scales…

And then add a long, curved fin to the top of the head.
10.

Now, add more lines down the length of this.

Grab a pink pen, and add small marks all across the back of the body.
12.

Use a red pen to add a ring inside the eye…
13.

And then use a black pen to add more detail to the eye.
14.

Grab a purple pen, and shade the space above the mouth, and at the bottom of the top fin.
15.

Use this same color to add long, thin patterns across the back.

Use the purple pen to shade the spaces around these patterns on the main body of your fish.
17.

Grab a dark blue pen, and add color to the top of the tail, the bottom of the face, and the edges of the bottom fins.

Use a green pen for the patterns on the back of the fish…

And then use a red pen for the inside of the mouth.
20.

Grab an ocean blue pen, and add color to the ends of the fins and the space above the mouth.
21.

Use a potato brown pen to add patterns and designs to the front of the head.
22.

Use the potato brown pen to shade the space around these.
23.

Grab a cyan pen, and shade the space behind the mouth and the bottom of the face.
24.

Use an orange pen for the space behind this blue section, and a yellow pen to add a small yellow circle to the center of this.
25.

Use a green pen to the top and side fins.
26.

Use a blue pen for the lips and the top of the mouth…
27.

And then use a blue pencil for the end of the tail.

Use a green pen for the spots on top of the head.
29.

Now, use a gray pencil for the spot at the front of the head.
