1.

Grab a pencil and drawing compass, and add a large circle to the center of your page.
2.

Add another circle to the bottom of this…

And then add a horseshoe shape to the center of the face, with a curve on either side.
4.

Add an “egg” shape to the bottom of the horseshoe…
5.

And then add another curve just below the top of the horseshoe – this will be the beak – and add a wavy line below this.

Add a curve to the top of the egg shape, and then add an “x” in this top section. Then, add a forked shape to the top of this shape.
7.

Add a curved shape to the bottom right, and then a teardrop shape below this.
8.

Add curved “loops” around the curves of the eyes…

And then add loops to the right side and the bottom of the left eye for the wings.
10.

Add another line inside the main line of the body…

Use a curved, triangle shape for the tail on the bottom left…

And then add two feet to the front.
13.

Grab a black pen, and go over the outlines, including details in the fish…
14.

Before using an eraser to remove any pencil marks.
15.

Use an orange pen for the feet and the edge of the beak.
16.

Use a brown pen for the second section of the beak…
17.

And a pink pen for the section below this.
18.

Use a black pen to complete this section of the mouth and beak.
19.

Grab a blue pen for the fish…
20.

And go over the outlines with a thick black line.
21.

Use a black pen to shade the outside sections and complete your penguin.
And voila – an adorable penguin, enjoying a dish of tasty fish – but where will his next adventures take him?
