Penguins are smart, intelligent, and sociable creatures, who enjoy any chance to have fun! Ready to experience a snowy winter, penguin-style? Well, let’s bring this scene to life in just a few simple steps.
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start with a black pen, and draw a wavy line, with one small and one large “bump”, across the center of your page.
Fro the right end, bring the line across to the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
Take this to a point, and then bring it back up to a loop, and across towards the right. Here, bring the line back to form a “hook” at the left end.
Now, add a point to the top right curve…
And add three small “loops” to the top of the left side.
Bring a curved line down from the front, and then add a pointed beak, with two triangles pointing to the left.
Bring a line down from the bottom of the beak, and take this across to the right, and up to meet the line at the back.
Next, add small feet to the back of the body, with three small “toes” on each…
And then add a large puddle to the bottom of the penguin’s body.
Add a small dot behind the beak, and add an oval shape above this for an eye and the brow.
Use a thin black or gray pen to add a series of marks all across the top of the tummy…
And then shade the top section of your penguin with the black pen.
Grab an orange pen for the beak and feet…
And then use a blue pen to shade the area just below the body.
Now, use a lighter blue pen for the remainder of the puddle…
And use a pink pen to add spots of color to the cheeks.
Now, use a gray pencil to add color to the space at the bottom of the tummy…
And use the light blue pen to add three marks just behind the bottom foot – your penguin is picking up speed!
And there we have it – an adorable penguin who looks like he is having plenty of fun doing what he loves; we are all feeling pretty jealous of his adventures!
