Penguins are adorable no matter what they do or wear – but is there anything cuter than a penguin in glasses? Well, why don’t we create our very own and see for ourselves?

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Grab a thick black pen, and draw a curved line in the center of your page. Add curved lines to the end of each.
2.

Now, add a large “u” shape to the bottom of this shape, leaving a small gap on either side.
3.

Use an orange pen to add small orange rectangles inside the gaps.
4.

Connect these orange rectangles with a gray pen, and add a slightly wavy line.
5.

Now, draw two small shapes beneath this line for the eyes…
6.

And make these a little thicker, creating the outline of the glasses.
7.

Return to the black pen, and draw a curved line above each half of the glasses. Then, add a square “u” shape to the bottom of the glasses, in the center.
8.

Draw a small triangle inside this “u” shape…
9.

And then add a large curved shape around the side and bottom. Add another line to the bottom of this.
10.

Add a short, curved line to the bottom left, and a longer line to the bottom right. Follow this with a large oval shape below the face.
11.

Add a point to the right curved line, and then take this up, down, and across, following the curve above.
12.

Use a black pen to shade this outer section, along with the outside of the face and nose.
13.

Now, use a brown pencil to draw a brown “C” on its side, and place this on the top of the head.
14.

Use a black pen to add a rectangle inside this…
15.

And then use the brown pencil to add a square to the top, forming a hat.
16.

Use a black pen to draw a curved line inside each of the lenses of the glasses, and add marks to the end of this for lashes.
17.

Next, grab a green pen, a yellow pen, and a pink pen, and add circles to the end of the curved line on the left.
18.

Use the brown pencil to add an upside-down “V” shape below the pink and green circles.
19.

Add a black triangle inside the nick of the “V” – this is the wing of your penguin holding onto their ice cream cone.
20.

Add black to the space above this to complete the outline of the body.
21.

Use an orange pen to add two feet to the bottom – use two sets of angled lines, and join these at the end with a wavy line. Fill these feet in with the orange pen.
22.

Use a gray pencil to shade the lenses of the glasses.
23.

Use the orange pen to add a pop of color to the beak…
24.

And then use the gray pencil to add criss-cross lines across the cone of your ice cream.
25.

Now, use a pink pen to add spots of color to the cheeks.
And there we have it – a super happy penguin with a pair of cool glasses, enjoying the warm summer sun – doesn’t that look like bliss!
