Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a curved “n” shape in the center of your page.
2.

Add two small “leaf” shapes to the top of this.
3.

And then add a small curve to the bottom of each side, just below a slight gap. Add two curved lines in between these, and connect these at the end with short lines.
4.

Connect the ends of this shape to the curves at the end with two lines…
5.

And then bring curved lines down from the bottom of this to form the outline of the sunglasses.
6.

Add another oval shape inside each of the glasses, and then add a circle to the right of these.
7.

Now, add a curved line between the bottom of the glasses. Take the end to a point, and then add a wavy line to the bottom for the top of the beak.
8.

Add a curved line to the bottom of the beak…
9.

And then bring two curved lines up from the top of the beak, across to the sides and the edges of the face.
10.

Bring a curved line down from the bottom of the glasses…
11.

Now, bring two curved lines down from the bottom, angling these down and out slightly. Connect these with a curved line at the bottom to form the body.
12.

Now, add curved lines to either side of this central section…
13.

And bring angled lines down from the bottom of the face, towards the bottom corners. Flick these down at the end, and then bring a line back in to form an arm on either side.
14.

Add two sets of parallel lines to the bottom of the body, with a short curve at the bottom of each, and then take the top line across to the sides of the page.
15.

Bring these top lines down and across to form the feet.
16.

Use the black pen to add two curved brows to the top of the eyes.
17.

And then use the same shade for the wings, the outside of the body and the glasses.
18.

Use an orange pen for the beak and the feet.
19.

Use a brown pen to add color to the bottom of the beak.
20.

Now, use a light blue color for the eyes.
And voila – your very own super cool penguin, complete with summery shades. All he needs is a pool to cool off in!
