1.

Grab a ruler and pencil, and draw two small rectangles in the top right corner of your page.
2.

Bring two lines inwards from the right corners of the page, and join these with another vertical line to the right.
3.

Add a small oval to the bottom section, then add a small square to the bottom, and a long, wide shape at the bottom for the television screen.
4.

Now, use the ruler to add a large rectangle to the bottom, and then a smaller rectangle shape to the right.
5.

Cut off the corners of the rectangles at the bottom…
6.

And add two long, thin rectangles to this bottom section.
7.

Now, bring a curved line across to the right and up, and add a small square to form the plug.
8.

Now, use the ruler and pencil to add a “backwards L” shape to the left of the television. Bring a line across at the top to the left, and add a diagonal line across this.
9.

Bring a line across from the top of this line, and then connect this top line to the bottom line with a diagonal. Cut the top corners off with curves.
10.

Add a “C” shape to the left of this large shape, and then add a cylinder shape to the right, above the smaller rectangle shape. This will be the couch for your viewer to sit on.
11.

Use the ruler to add another line to the bottom of the couch.
12.

Add a series of small, vertical marks to this new bottom section.
13.

Add a curved line from the top of the chair, reaching to the right and down to the arm on the right,
14.

Add two “flicks” to the top of this for the arm of the viewer…
15.

And add a fork to the end of this to form the hand.
16.

Add a rectangle to the hand for the remote…
17.

And then add details to this; a button in the top right, a line to the right, and a design below the hand.
18.

Bring the face up from the top of the curve of the body – add two parallel lines for the neck, and then take these across and up. Add a curve to the top line, and join these with a point for the top of the face.
19.

Bring a curved line across for the hair and back of the head…
20.

Bring a curved line down from the front of the couch for the leg, add a curved line to the bottom, and then add the foot to the end.
21.

Add a series of diagonal lines across the TV screen…
22.

And then go over the outlines of your image with a black fineliner.
23.

Now, use an eraser to remove the pencil marks…
24.

Grab an orange pen, and use this to shade the skin of the face and arms.
25.

Use a brown pen for the sides of the chair legs, and the sides of the armrests, as well as the drawers on the TV unit.
26.

Shade the rest of the TV unit with a light brown pen…
27.

And then color the chair with a red pen.
