Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Grab a black pen, and draw a long, curved shape in the center of your page, angling this slightly. Add a straight line to the bottom.

Bring a curved line up on either side, curving towards the right, and add a small circle to the top of this.

Now, bring a line down on each side, and connect these with a curved line at the bottom for the face of your polar bear.

Add a “horseshoe” shape to either side of the head to create ears…

And then use a teardrop shape in the center of the face.

Add a small half-circle inside this for the nose, and then add curved lines to the bottom for the mouth.

Now, add two small rings to the top for the eyes…

And then add two curves above the eyes for brows.

Add a curved shape below the bottom of the face, and then add two angled square shapes below this – this will be the scarf of your polar bear.

Draw a series of stripes across the scarf…

Connect the scarf to the face with two short lines.

Bring two curved lines out from a point at the bottom right of the scarf, and then angle these down towards the bottom of the page, and connect these at the bottom.

Add four “bumps” to the end of this, and then another to the left.

Repeat this process on the left to form another arm and fingers on the other side.

Connect the two arms with a curved line at the bottom, and then add a circle in the center of this.
16.
Bring two curved lines down on the bottom right, and add a point to the right for the leg and foot.
17.
Draw three small half circle shapes at the bottom of the foot…

And then repeat this with another foot on the left.
19.
Add a small circle around halfway up each leg.
20.
Now, use a red pen, and shade the bottom of the har, and the main sections of the scarf.

Use a brown pen for the nose of the polar bear…

And then use a blue pen for the section around the nose, the fingers, and the circles on the knees, as well as the inside of the ears.

Use a yellow pen for the remaining sections of the scarf.
24.
Now, use a blue pencil for the rest of the body, leaving the circle in the center white.
And there we have it – the most festive bear that you ever saw, ready to enjoy the holiday season!
