Police helicopters are an integral part of any team, and it is time to celebrate them in all their glory – let’s get started!

1.

Grab a pencil, and add a line to the right of your page. Bring this up in a loop, and then add a bump slightly in, and another slightly above this., Take the top line across to the left.

Curve the top and bottom lines in towards one another.
3.

Then, bring two lines out from the back of these, and join these in a small curve at the end.
4.

Add the word “POLICE” to the side of the shape…
5.

And then use a blue pen and ruler to add a thick line to the bottom right, with a thinner line above, and three shorter lines at the top.

Use the blue pen to add the word “POLICE” in block letters to the side of the helicopter.
7.

Shade the space to the left of this with the blue pen, and go around the letters…

And then use a yellow pen to add a small square to the right of the “E”.
9.

Use the blue pen to connect the shorter lines., and bring a curved line up at the back..
10.

And then use a ruler to add a “corner” to this section, bringing the top left line up at an angle. Add two thicker stripes behind this.
11.

Draw the outline of the windows with the blue pen and a ruler.
12.

Shade the section to the left of the stripes, as well as the center of the badge with the blue pen.

Color the windows with a light blue pen…

And use this to add a propeller to the back of the tail.
15.

Add three long blades to this propeller with the light blue pen.
16.

Go over each blade, adding diagonal lines with the dark blue pen.
17.

Use the pencil and ruler to add the tail of the helicopter in between the propellers…
18.

And shade this with the dark blue pen, leaving white stripes at the top.
19.

Draw a small shape at the center of your helicopter with the blue pen…
20.

And a shape across this with the green pen.
21.

Use a light blue pen to add a curve to the top…
22.

And a gray pencil for the rest of the stripes, the front of the top, and the bottom of the helicopter.
23.

Make sure that the “POLICE” label is sharp.
24.

Grab a black pen and draw the bottom of the helicopter by adding two angled lines joined halfway up, and at the bottom curving this up at the right.
And just like that, you have your very own police helicopter ready to leap into action at a moment’s notice!
