1.

Start with a ruler and pencil, and add three horizontal lines to the bottom of your page.
2.

Bring a large square up from the top of this…
3.

And then add a long, thin rectangle to the top of the square,
4.

Next, add another square slightly below and to the left of the first, and add another thin rectangle to the top of this.
5.

Add two more rectangles below, and join these with a series of vertical stripes.
6.

Add another rectangle to the left, and give this a long, thin roof at the top.
7.

Now, add a square to the center of the main section, and a thin rectangle to the left. Follow this with another rectangle in the left section.
8.

Add two smaller rectangles inside the first square for the door, and add handles to either door.
9.

Next, add the outline of a car to the right of this building…
10.

And fill this in with curved lights at the back, front, and wheel arches.
11.

Add two small squares to the top of this car – these will be the sirens!
12.

Add the outline of a badge to the main body of the car, with a “P” inside…
13.

And then add another section of the building, complete with a double rectangle for the roof, behind this.
14.

From the top of this, add a long, thin stick and a rectangle for the flag, and add the badge and “P” inside this.
15.

Now, use your ruler to add the word “POLICE” to the very top of the main building.
16.

Now, go over all your outlines with a black fineliner pen…
17.

And then use an eraser to remove any pencil marks.
18.

Grab a gray pen, and shade the main section of the central building, the top of the right building, the “POLICE” sign at the top, and the front and back of the car.
19.

Use a darker gray pen for the windows and wheels of the car, as well as the main doors and windows of the buildings.
20.

Grab a blue pen for the left building, the top and doorway of the central building, and the outside of the flag.
21.

Shade the badges with a yellow pen…
22.

And use a red pen and a blue pen for the sirens and lights on the car.
23.

Now, use a brown pen for the “P” in each badge.
24.

Use a green pen for the top rectangle at the bottom…
25.

And a black pen for the ones below, as well as the roofs and the door on the left.
26.

Finally, use your darker gray pen to make the windows of the building, the doors, and the windows of the car darker.
And just like that, you have your very own police station, waiting and ready for action!
