Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen and a ruler, and draw a short line on the left side of your page.
2.

Bring a curved line up at either end and add a small circle to the top of each side. Then, add a small “teardrop” shape in the center, slightly higher up.
3.

Connect the small circles together with curved lines…
4.

And then add a series of circles across the crown, with the largest in the center.
5.

Bring a curved line down from the bottom on either side and join these with a jagged line at the bottom. Fill this in to create the hair of your prince, just below the crown.
6.

Bring two curved lines down on either side and join these at the bottom to create the outline of the face. Add a small wavy shape to either side for the ears.
7.

Now, draw two circles in the center of the face, and fill these in with the black pen for the eyes. Add a mark above each eye for the brows, and then an arrow-shaped nose below. Finally, add a curved line to the bottom for a smiling mouth.
8.

Add two curved rectangle shapes to the bottom of the face…
9.

And then add a long “teardrop” shape to the side of each, with short lines below for the shoulder pads.
10.

Bring a curved line down from the bottom of the right shoulder pad, and another from the left, angling this across slightly, and then straight down.
11.

Add a small, square “bucket” shape to the middle of these lines.
12.

Add another “strip” to the bottom of this, and then bring curved lines down at the bottom. Add another angled line inside the one on the left and close this off to create an arm. Add two curved lines to the end of this.
13.

Now, close the curved lines at the bottom, and then add two short vertical lines to the center of the body.
14.

Add a series of buttons to the left of this line…
15.

And then bring a line down on the right, closing this off at the bottom and adding a hand to the end.
16.

Bring two vertical lines down from the bottom…
17.

And then add two angled lines inside these, joining both at the bottom for the legs.
18.

Add small black shapes to the bottom of each leg for the feet.
19.

Now, draw a line across the bottom of the feet, and across to the right…
20.

And make this a little thicker, filling it in with the black pen.
21.

Now, add three points to the right of the prince, and connect these at the bottom with a line to form another crown. Add a small heart shape inside this.
22.

Bring a wavy line down on either side of the crown.
23.

Now, add a slightly slanted, “teardrop” shape inside the lines of the hair for the princess’s face.
24.

Add two small circles inside the face, and shade these with the black pen. Add short lashes to the sides, and small marks underneath, before adding a curved line in the center.
25.

Now, add a pointed collar to the bottom of the face, and a curve on either side.
26.

Bring the curve on both sides down, in and then angled back out.
27.

Connect these at the bottom with a straight line…
28.

And then bring the curved lines of the dress down on both sides.
29.

Add two curves inside the lines of the skirt, and then two loops in the center of these.
30.

Bring two curved lines out from the bottom of the sleeves on either side…
31.

And then shade the bottom left of the hair.
32.

Complete the rest of the princess’s hair with the black pen…
33.

And add a thin chain to the neck for a necklace.
34.

Now, use a red pen to shade the trousers and belt of the prince, and the heart on the princess’s crown.
35.

Use a yellow pen to shade both the crowns…
36.

And then use an orange pencil for the face and arms of the princess.
37.

Use the same shade for the face and hands of the prince.
38.

Use the yellow pen for the collar and shoulders of the prince.
39.

Now, shade the princess’s skirt with a green pen…
40.

And use a light green pen for the top of her dress.
41.

Use the yellow pen for the buttons of the prince.
And there we have it – your very own stunning prince and princess, ready to rule the realm – their story has just started!
