Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Start with a black pen, and draw two curved lines, slightly angled, at the right of your page. Add a few marks to the top for long lashes, and then add a dot to the center.

Add two more small marks to the top of the eyes and brows, and then add a long “U” shape below the dot. Add another curved line just below the top of this.

Add a large, curved “U” shape around the bottom and sides of the face…

And then add a series of “U” shapes to the top for the hairline, and draw a curved spiral shape to the top of the third “spike”.

Next, add ears to either side of the face with curved lines…

And then draw a crown on the top of the head, with sharp spikes topped by small circles.

Bring a line across from the left of this, add a “bump”, and then take the line down. Add a curved lone to the right, and then spiral this across to the left at the end.

Bring a short line down from the bottom of the face on the left, and then a longer line on the right.
9.
Add a “C” shape to the left of this, and then bring across two curved lines towards the right, ending them with a curve at the end to form a wrist.
10.
Continue the line on the left down on the bottom of the arm, and then take a line across to connect the two sides.

Add a “stripe” to the bottom of the shirt…

And then bring across a wavy heart shape to the back, angled to 90 degrees, with a spiral in the center.

Next, draw two slightly angled diagonal, parallel lines emerging from the bottom left. Add a stripe to the bottom, and then end with a curved foot.

Now, add a pointed “n” shape to the left of the princess’ face.

Bring across two curved lines, stretching out to the left, and then flicking up in a circular shape at the top.

Bring curved lines down from the right of the “n” shape – the ear of the unicorn – to meet the side of the princess and create a long, flowing mane.

Add a pointed horn just in front of the ear, and add a series of diagonal lines down the length of this…

And then add a large, wide “C” shape to the bottom to create the face of the unicorn.

Draw a curved line just inside this, and add small marks for lashes.

Add a dot to the end of the nose, and then a curved line just behind this…

Bring a curved line down from beneath the chin, heading to almost touch the foot of the princess.

Now, add two curved legs to the front of this, pointing down towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.

Add two curves to the bottom of these for hooves…

And then bring a line across for the belly, and add another leg pointing down towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.

Add another back leg in front of this…

And then draw curved lines for hooves, just as you did on the front legs.

Now, bring across a series of curved lines from the back, ending with a spiral, to create your unicorn’s stunning tail.

Bring down more curls from the head of the princess…

And then grab a pink pen for the dress of the princess, and the unicorn’s hooves, a stripe on her horn, and a strip in her mane and tail. Use the same shade to add pink dots to the cheeks.

Now, use a yellow pen for a stripe in the mane and tail, the top of the horn, and the princesses crown.

Grab a red pen, and use this to shade the belt and shoes of the princess.

Now, use a purple pen for a strand of the mane and tail, and a section of the horn…

And follow this with a green pen on the tail and to complete the unicorn’s horn.

Now, use an orange pen to give your princess fire-red hair…

And use the pink pen to add a heart shape to the top of the back.

Follow this by using a green pen to create a clover shape.
And there we have it – you have given the princess her very own super cute unicorn to love and play with; all that remains is for you to give him a name!
