1.

Start with a pencil, and add a curved shape to the right of your page, with slightly jagged ends on both sides.
2.

Extend the jagged sections, and then bring this across and up to meet in the center. Add another jagged shape below.
3.

Draw a circle at the bottom, and add a small nose inside this.
4.

Bring a curved line across at the bottom of this…
5.

And then add two triangle ears to the top, with smaller triangles inside.
6.

Bring a jagged, curved line down on the left…
7.

And follow this with a line on the right. Take this right line across, and echo it below for a front leg.
8.

Add a small paw to the bottom of this front leg.
9.

Bring a curved line down from the right of the face, and then add the curved of a back leg beside this, with a jagged section at the bottom.
10.

Add another back leg to the right of the first…
11.

And add two small feet to the bottom of the legs.
12.

Now, add another arm to the right of the front one…
13.

And a large bushy tail to the left.
14.

Shade the inner ears and top of the head, as well as the “mask” of the raccoon, with a gray pen.
15.

Use this to go over the back of the body, the legs, and the center of the tummy, and shade the right leg.
16.

And then shade the main back and body with this color.
17.

Add jagged stripes to the tail…
18.

Grab a black pen and color the paws black, before adding small eyes to the face.
19.

Now, shade the rest of the face with a light gray pen and draw the whiskers.
20.

Go over the tummy with a pink pencil…
21.

And use the light gray pen to fill in the remaining sections on the tail.
And voila – you have your very own raccoon, caught in the act; but just what was he up to?
