We all know that lions are fierce and majestic – but did you know that they can also be fabulous? Well, let’s combine a lion and a rainbow and take a look for ourselves!
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Grab a black pen, and draw a curved line in the right of your page.
Add a small bump to the bottom of this, filling this in with the black pen.
Bring a curved line down on either side of the line…
And then take the lines in, connecting them with a “bump” at the bottom.
Add a curved shape to the bottom of this shape, and add a curved triangle in the center, filling this in with the black pen. Add a half-circle shape to the bottom of this.
Now, add two long, curved points to the bottom, and then add shorter shapes inside these longer ones.
Add a series of dots down the side of the main shape, and then add curved lines emerging from these for whiskers.
Grab a ruler, and bring two parallel lines up from the bottom shape. Take these across to the sides at 90 degrees at the top.
Add a small half-circle to the bottom of the top lines, filling these in with the black pen.
Now, add curved ears to the top on both sides.
Add a short line to the top of the head, and then draw a “fork” shape above this.
Use a yellow pen to add two triangles to the bottom of this…
And then use a blue pen to add two curved points to the bottom of the face.
Next, use a red pen to add two curved points above the blue…
And follow this by using a brown pen to add two points in between the red and blue.
Use an orange pen to add two curved shapes inside the blue.
Now, add curves to the top of the red with a yellow pen…
And use a brown pen for the nose and ears.
Use an orange pen to add color to the tongue…
And then shade the face with a lighter orange pen.
Add two curved shapes to the sides of the head with a pink pen, and then shade these in…
Before adding more curves below this with a red pen.
Add smaller curves below with a blue pen…
And then small orange curves below the yellow ones with an orange pen.
Now, use a blue pen to add shorter curves to the top.
Use the yellow pen to add curves above each ear…
And then a green pen for curved below.
Use a pink pen to add two spikes on top of the head, in between the ears…
And then use a green pen to bring spikes out on either side of these.
And there we have it – a majestic, colorful lion, just waiting for his rightful name; can you oblige?
